Returns and Exchange Policy

Thank you for your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with you may return or exchange your purchase within 30 days of the original date of purchase.  Custom orders are non-refundable. Please follow the directions on the reverse side of the packing slip to insure an accurate accounting for any exchange or refund. Any refunds will be made in the original form of payment. Merchandise purchased on a credit card will be refunded to the original credit card only. If you choose to return merchandise to a 4J Couture store/showroom,  it must be accompanied with the packing slip from the order. Without the packing slip, we will exchange items at current retail value for merchandise or in-store credit only; valid identification is required. Returns/exchanges on altered or worn clothing are subject to store management discretion.
Returning an item
Fill out the return form on the reverse side of the packing slip, indicating item(s) being returned and the reason(s) for the return.

Securely pack the merchandise and ship to 4J Couture via US Postal Service or UPS using the enclosed pre-addressed shipping label (print another shipping label). Remember to insure your package. Please be aware that the return shipping and handling fee may be deducted from the amount of your credit.

Please allow 7-10 business days for the return transit time via UPS or USPS. Plus an additional 7 business days upon receipt, for the return to be completed and the refund to be issued to your account.

Note: only items purchased on 4jcouture.com may be returned by mail.

Exchanging an item
Fill out the return form on the reverse side of the packing slip, indicating item(s) being returned and the reason(s) for the return. Then fill out the exchange form on the reverse of the pacing slip  indicating the items you’d like in exchange.

Securely pack the merchandise and ship to 4J Couture via US Postal Service or UPS using the enclosed pre-addressed shipping label. Remember to insure your package.

We’ll process your exchange within 7 business days of receipt, and you will not be charged shipping on the exchange. If the requested exchange item is not available, you will receive credit to the original form of payment. Note: only items purchased on macys.com may be exchanged by mail.

Shipping times
The times listed below estimate the expected number of business days it will take for in-stock merchandise to be shipped from our facilities and delivered to you. (“Business days” means Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.) In some cases, merchandise may actually ship earlier than expected. When you choose “Premium” or “Express” delivery, we’ll expedite processing in our warehouse and then select the shipping carrier and method designed to meet the stated delivery. Please note: orders being shipped to APO addresses and US Territories cannot be expedited.

 How do I find out what merchandise is available?
You can visit our On-Line store to view merchandise either by type, occasion or by category. Our 4J Couture stores feature a broader selection of product in each category.
 Do you offer formal wear?
We offer formal wear for purchase on our web site, and in our 4J Couture stores. We also offer special custom services. You will need your measurements for specially tailored formal wear. The delivery time for these is longer than with regular purchases, and there is an additional cost for this service. Call us at  (301) 362 8050 for further information.
